BeForever 2017

The books that previously sounded like Felicity’s story are now listed in a 3 book set on Amazon and are called “BeForever 2017.”  The theme listed for the book is “Colonial Life.”  So curious to see if this is Felicity coming out of retirement or a new character. If Kathleen Ernst and Valerie Tripp are both on the project, I have the highest hopes!  Books in February and doll in fall like Melody??

Ohhh, I do hope you’re right — YAY!!! Still have my DD’s Felicity from 1990 and would love to own my very own! Been thinking of getting a red-haired doll, so Felicity would be perfect!!!

I love that you are on board for two Felicity’s in the same family! 💗. Felicity’s clothes are so fabulous. I would love to see her have a wide range of colors and outfits… I’m not a fan of BeForever Samantha’s mostly pink wardrobe. We could have a long wait till the reveal, but it never hurts to save some money in the meanwhile 😉

She was my DD’s favorite (has Molly & Kirsten also). I’m not sure she’ll ever take her dolls to her house as they have 2 dogs/no kids. A wardrobe of many colors/outfits would be a dream come true and since I now want Melody and probably the GOTY in just 3 2/3 months, I’ll NEED to save up for a new Felicity!

Over at Lissie and Lilly there was a blurb that someone (I think Gwen from “Peek In The Pantry” met the author at a book signing and she did confirm that Felicity is going to be re-released. I AM SO EXCITED! Felicity’s time period is my favorite in history, fingers crossed they re-release her riding outfit. My sister has it, and it is gorgeous!

AAAAH! (Does a big happy dance) I’m so happy to hear that news is confirmed!! Well, this news kind of tells me I’m not going to be adding Melody to my collection any time soon. If Lissie’s new collection ends up being on par with Caroline’s I might be coming home with a huge part of it and if the doll is different enough from the Mattel Felicity who I have, I might be getting a BF one too. Oh my gosh I cannot wait until February and if I have to wait until next fall (which I probably will) I don’t know how I’m going to stand it!

I just found out another rumor is that Samantha is going to be on sale at Costco for the holidays. That’s another confirmation that Lissie is going to replace Sam. I’m surprised that I didn’t buy anything from Sam’s BF collection at all. I actually disagree where many people say her collection isn’t historically accurate. I saw some real brightly colored Victorian outfits in the agplaythings historical section that are very similar to ones Sam has. They simply just don’t appeal to me personally.

I saw mention of that somewhere, too. I think Sam is a gorgeous doll, but her clothing just isn’t my favorite. A neighbor has a Sam I can borrow though 😃. Now, if Kirsten is ever re released I will be a happy camper!!! I have Minnesota blood!

Now you gals are just killin’ me — we have Molly, Kirsten & Felicity from 1989, 1990, 1991. In ’92 I wanted to get my DD Samantha, but hubby felt she was too old for dolls, so we never got her. Always really wanted her & just recently found we actually have, I think, all her books & an outfit or 2, sooo if @ Costco, pretty sure she’ll be coming to live w/me! Little did hubby know then, no girl’s ever ‘too old’ for dolls & our DD is 34 — LOL! Funny thing, he encourages my doll/sewing habit & let’s me live the childhood I never had now! 😄

“Honey, my Christmas/Hannukah present is all set… I picked it up grocery shopping! “. I don’t have a membership but I believe Costco also sold 100.00 of AG gift cards for 80.00 last year and that was really popular.
I’m glad your DH supports your doll sewing and collecting. Mine does too. The last time we were at AGP Chicago he noticed their very nice tv screens. I couldn’t believe they weren’t 3D the image was so good. When I realized what was available, for not much money, he got a new tv not long after. See, you just never know what might happen after a trip to American Girl.

LOL — Costco is one of my FAV places to shop and has been for many years. Our store (Chandler, AZ) actually carried the Gift Cards @ $79.99 for many months this past year and that’s how my doll collection grew. AG sent me a 30% off coupon and so I made a birthday haul with it + gift cards — woo-hoo!!! My last 3 trips they’ve had no GC’s but they think/hope they’ll be back for holiday sales — me too. 😉

OH dear, may have to borrow my father-in-laws Costco card. I’ve been debating on a BF Samantha to take the place of my PC Sam in my stories. If she’s a good price at Costco, I might just have to get her!
