I had to stop by Kohl’s on the way home from work to see the Lea display.
It seemed to me they have almost almost all of Lea’s smaller items: celebration dress, Bahia shirt & shorts, pajamas, sloth, tortoise, swimwear, beach picnic set, rainforest hike accessories, and her regular accessories. I did not see the Margay cat. Lea herself has a security system that keeps the box closed; if you wanted to see inside the box you would need to ask a salesperson for help.
The signs indicated that you can’t use coupons and promotions towards the American Girl items, but they do accrue points to the Kohls’ reward system.
Also, the American Girl MegaBlok sets are 15% off currently.
I saw Grace (pictured), McKenna, and Saige’s horse stable.

The Dolls Between Us 
Whew! I’m so glad they have security on the boxes! And the display actually looks very nice! I still don’t agree with AG products being sold at Kohls, but it definitely looks nicer than I imagined! 🙂

There is a similar display stand for Star Wars items… some sort of reinforced cardboard. I do wonder how items will sell without a discount. The Kohl’s mentality is sort of “everything is on sale and always use a coupon”… so it’s a bummer when things are excluded from promotions.

I was in a Kohl’s on Friday, but they had a very small toy area and no Wellie Wishers. 😦 Unfortunately, too early for Lea, but kinda doubt that store will ever have her. There is a Kohl’s a bit closer that’s larger, so will check there soon, hopefully. Kinda sad no coupons can be used, but not surprised. Our AGP is over 100-mile round trip for me!

This sure makes purchasing AG items convenient. I went to Kohl’s and decided Lea has enough things so I used all my gift cards buying Camille and Willa. They’re so adorable. I plan to post about them soon.

Awesome! I was surprised how tiny the Wellie clothes are! My store had a nice representation of all the Wellies. I was tempted today, but Maryellen has really become my #1 “priority”

None today, I’ll go back next week. They were tearing apart the whole toy section, so I’m hoping. I did see a small amount of Wellie Wishers stuff.

Went back today and they did have the display. It was in a weird place though and hard to get to the dolls, not sure if that’s where it’s going to stay. The dolls had the security tags on them as well. I picked up the celebration outfit and the accessories set. I still have mixed feelings about Kohl’s selling these, but I have to admit that it was nice to only have to drive 5 minutes from my house, not pay shipping and earn some Kohl’s bucks that I can use for something else. I think the fact that the displays aren’t huge is a plus, it seems like once it’s gone, that’s it. The selection of Wellie Wishers stuff was still bad, no Willa or Camille, only 2 different outfits and 2 accessory sets, that’s it. Not sure why they bothered.

I agree…. the sort of temporary nature of the standing display seems to give the message that this is for the holidays. I saw a similar stand with Star Wars stuff on it. I’m glad your store finally got with the program 😉

My Kohl’s did not have any of the Lea dolls under lock and key….I’m not sure if they realize how sought out these dolls really are?! I am bummed at the fact that all AG products are excluded from monthly discounts…so better save up that Kohl’s cash instead.

Does the Khols cash count towards AG stuff? (Got $30 in kohls cash for my purchase!) Just bought Lea, her celebration outfit and her pjs today!! So excited!! I also saw the AG megabloks and the wellie wishers, but only the ladybug brush, ocean play set, Kendall’s play set (don’t know the name), pjs, their princess outfit, and 6 Emerson, 1 Willa, and 1 Ashlyn. Those dolls didn’t have a security thing on them. Less whole collection was there except for the margay cat (and some clothes) There was even the girls size pjs and butterfly shirts. Happy for my purchase, but going to an AGO would have been more fun. I like the accessibility though! I’ll have to check out a ToysRUs soon to see if they have TM dolls yet.

Congratulations! I’m not sure about the Kohl’s cash. I thought purchases earned rewards but that the rewards could not be used on AG and other specialty brands. I am not confident about that though.

The Kohl’s cash does not count towards AG stuff, it’s specified right on the back of the coupon.

I’m gonna miss Lea Clark when she retires at the end of December because she’s my favorite doll and I love her very much! I have been helping my Mom out by going shopping with her and putting groceries away when we get home from the store and sometimes I would like to chill in my bedroom by watching my game shows because my father just hooked up our adapters hooked up to the television so that we can watch our shows again! I do like to brush my dolls hair by using the spray bottle so that I can wet it down a little bit so that it’s not so fuzzy all the time!
